Secrets of a Social Media Team
We're spilling all the tea 🫖giving you all the secrets and tips 🤫showing why what you were doing online wasn't working before and how to change it for the better 🤯 So buckle in and look no further, you've got us on your side!
Let's talk goals. We know we need them, but are we really optimizing these goals and setting ourselves up to become successful? Say goodbye to vagueness, and hello to being specific! Knowing exactly what you want and how to get there is the way, friends!
This has been around for a while and although you know just as well as we do that we like to shake things up over here and challenge the status quo at socialtopia. However, this happens to be one of those 'oldie but a goodie' situations. It's timeless!
Challenge yourself to progress more on your objectives. You'll find out soon enough you have short-term goals and long-term goals.
Here are some things to think about as you're brainstorming:
Why do I want to achieve this goal?
What do I need to achieve it?
When I achieve this, what will this mean for the organization?
How will I know when I have achieved it?
Is this goal truly attainable? Do I need to allocate additional resources and funds to set this plan into action?
What's a realistic time frame that this can be accomplished in?
Look for the action words, the specific numbers, the time frames, and the 'how'! These are short examples, but use them as inspiration to take your goal of "I want more sales" to a detailed, higher level.
PRO TIP: When you share these goals within your team setting, it provides everyone with the information that is necessary for success. Your team isn't made up of mind-readers, nor do they know YOUR specific goals unless you communicate them. By providing more detail, you open up the channels for communication and get everyone brainstorming. Perhaps a team member might have a great strategy on how to get you to that goal even quicker! Try it out and let us know what you think 😀
